The Todd Wagner Foundation is a private charitable foundation whose principle contributor is its founder, philanthropist and businessman Todd Wagner As an entrepreneur, Mr. Wagner understands that running a responsible and effective charitable organization involves the same core principles as running a successful business, including an unwavering commitment to fiscal responsibility.

The Better Business Bureau's Wise Giving Alliance (WGA), which provides the de facto standards of accountability for charitable organizations, states that a charity's general and administrative costs should not exceed 35 percent of its annual expenditures. Since its inception, the Foundation's general and administrative costs have always been limited to 10 percent or less of total expenditures (including depreciation), which is significantly lower than the WGA's guidelines. That means that at least 90 percent of total expenditures were in direct support of the Foundation's mission every year
